Tarangire NP (one day), Manyara NP (one day), Ngorongoro Crater (three days!!), Ndutu (two days!), Central Serengeti (three days!).

Travel in luxury to Tanzania photo safari, featuring the best of East Africa in a custom small group setting for wildlife photography.   We concentrate on all the big cats, tons of grazing animals, hippos, elephants, birds, and so much more. We can easily film 35 species of birds as well as flamingos.  We don’t need in a rush, waiting when necessary to record incredible movement. It is the wildebeest calving season on the Nduto Plains, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the southern part of the Serengeti NP. Nothing encapsulates that famous circle of life seeing a baby wildebeest find its legs. We will start the safari before the sunrise, to catch the best lights in the morning, take a break at noon, and go to the field again in the afternoon. We will have very experienced drivers.

It will be a luxury photo safari. We will stay at five starts Serena lodges all the way through, very fine meals and good services. We also will experience a tented lodge in Tarangire.

Itinerary:

March 5, Leave Portland at 11:31pm, arrive Seattle at 12:36pm. LV Seattle at 1:30pm, Arr Amsterdan at 8:30am on Mach 6 by KLM Airlines.

March 6, Leave AMS at 10:35am, arrive Lilimanjaro airport at 8:50pm. Transfer to Arusha Serena Lodge***** in Arusha (one hour driving). Having dinner at lodge.

March 7, Marambai Tented Lodge. Arush/Tarangire NP (three hrs driving)

After breakfast, we will go to the world famous Tarangire National Park. The park gets its name from the Tarangire River that runs through the reserve. Tarangire National Park is famous for being a dense gathering place of birds and animals from June to December every year. In these months, thousands of animals migrated from the arid Masai Prairie to the Tarangire River to find water. In this park, you can also see bison, elephant, lion, warthog, all kinds of antelope and large quantities of impala. Beside these, the park is famous for its groups of elephant and Baobab tree.

March 8, Lake Manyara Serena Lodge*****. Tarangire /Lake Manyara NP (1.5 hrs driving)

In the early morning ,we will take photos near the lake Manyanra and safari in this beautiful park as the American writer Hemingway mentioned, The most beloved park in Africa. The lake attracts thousands of the flamingo and birds.

March 9, Nduto Serena Lodge*****. Lake Manyara/Nduto (three hrs driving)

We are approaching for looking forward to the Great migration in Ndutu area which is near the Serengeti NP.

March 10, Nduto Safari Lodge. Nduto

March 11, Serengeti Serena Lodge*****. Nduto/Serengeti (one hr driving)

We will drive into the Serengeti national park and where is the hometown of the great migration . not only could you see the African Big Five ,but also can see the most beautiful sunrise of the world here.
And the animal migrations always happen through whole year and move as a circle from Serengeti to Masai Mara and the total length is around 3400 KM.

March 12, Serengeti Serena. Serengeti

Whole day safari in Serengeti. Game driving will be arranged in the early morning and late afternoon which are the best time for the big cats hunting scenes.

March 14, NGO Serena Lodge*****. Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater (three hrs. driving)

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater whole day.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a very unique nature reserve. The volcanic crater of more than 100 square kilometers gathers various ecological features such as grasslands, forests, hills, lakes and swamps, and attracts animals outside the crater. Settled, it gradually formed an independent ecological chain system. The crater contains almost all animal species outside, and more than 25,000 large animals form a natural ecological balance in this semi-enclosed area. It is also one of the few regions in Africa that can see five major animals at the same time. It is called the “eighth wonder of the world”.

March 15, Ngo Serena. Ngorongoro Crater

March 16, Lake Manyara Serena Lodge*****. Ngo/Karatu (one hr driving)

After the morning safari in the crater and then drive back to Karatu area and check in the hotel .

March 17, Air. Karatu/Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport

Today we will enjoy a nice breakfast and then back to Arusha town, this is the beautiful town in the north part of Tanzania, here we will do a trekking in the countryside and visit the local market and after that, we will head to the airport of Kilimanjaro to catch 9:50pm flight to Amsterdam by KLM

March 18, Arrive Amsterdam at 7:15am, LV at 12:15pm, arrive Portland at 2:45pm.
